Tools for cat owners
Small, focused tools that do one useful thing each. They run in your browser, they don't need an account, and they show you the result before asking anything of you.
How we build these
There are a lot of cat "analysers" on the internet that show you a spinning progress bar, talk about spectrograms and neural networks, and then hand back a result that was decided the moment you finished the questionnaire. We think that is worth avoiding for two reasons.
The first is simple honesty: if a page tells you it is measuring something, it should be measuring it. Everything numeric in our tools is computed from what you actually give them, on your device, and where a measurement can't be made — a recording too quiet to read, a sample too short — the tool says so rather than printing a confident-looking number it invented.
The second matters more. Cat owners reach for tools like these when something feels off, and a tool that produces a reassuring verdict can delay a vet visit. Some feline emergencies move fast — a blocked male cat can go from uncomfortable to critical inside a day. So none of our tools issue an all-clear. The most they will ever say is that nothing you described reads as urgent, and the list of things that always warrant a phone call stays on screen no matter what result you get.
None of this replaces a veterinarian. What it can do is help you arrive at the appointment with something better than "he's been noisy lately".
